Jeevan Karki, the operator of the momos shop, is originally from Nepal. Nepal’s famous Dis Momos shop is set up near NIT, Raipur. The name of the shop is Nepali Famous Momos. There are many varieties of momos, which include Veg Momos, Manchurian Momos, Chicken Momos and Fried Momos. There is mostly demand for chicken momos. To make chicken momos, first prepare the masala, then add the chicken, then stuffing and steam it. The price of Veg Momos full plate is Rs 50. Chicken Momos full plate is Rs 80, Manchurian Momos full plate is Rs 80.
Daily sales of 6-7 thousand
He told that 80 to 90 plates of momos are sold every day, resulting in an income of Rs 6-7 thousand every day. There is another branch of Nepali famous momos shop in Chowpatty in front of NIT, where sales worth Rs 6 to 7 thousand are made every day. Jeevan told that he has studied till graduation. His father was already running a momos shop. Jeevan also started helping his father in his work and today Jeevan runs one of his two branches alone. Jeevan is very happy with his work.
